EKO Bulgaria EAD is part of Hellenic Petroleum Group and operates in the fuel retail sector in the country. The company distributes its products and offers its services through a network of 92 petrol stations using the EKO trademark.
The company is looking for a Credit Control Officer keen to pursue a career in a multinational organisation. The person will report to the Credit Control Supervisor of the company.
Files, posts, examines, verifies, corrects and balances financial transactions related to collections of credit sales;
Checks for accuracy, identifies discrepancies and alerts the Credit Control Supervisor;
Follows specific and detailed instructions and procedures according to company credit policies;
Checks for completeness and errors. Locates and extracts information from files and records as requested;
Participates in the preparation of customer credit proposals (CCPs);
Deals with clients in order to resolve routine queries and simple problems;
Assists in the preparation of reports from statistical and financial information in an accurate and timely manner;
Assists in the evaluation of customers’ risk on the basis of financial KPIs and in the preparation of financial analysis.
In respect of the ideal candidate profile:
University Degree in Accounting or Finance;
Proven experience as Credit Control Assistant/Officer in a large corporation would be considered a plus;
Knowledge of an ERP system (SAP ideally) would be considered an advantage;
Basic understanding of financial analysis and credit risk management;
Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
Keen to study for a professional qualification financed by the company (ACCA/CFA);
Good level of written and spoken English would be considered a plus;
Very good analytical and organizational skills;
Attention to detail;
A collaborative and team-oriented attitude.
