Programme Background

Established by HelleniQ Energy in 2013, the postgraduate scholarship programme supports outstanding graduates and young professionals in pursuing further education at leading universities in Bulgaria and worldwide. To date, more than 300 scholarships have been awarded across over 50 top universities.

In 2025, the programme marked a significant expansion and now covers five countries where the Group operates. As a result, HelleniQ Energy Group awarded more than 40 scholarships in total last year, providing even more candidates with the opportunity to realise their academic potential.

The programme is part of EKO Bulgaria’s special project “Energy for the Future” initiative, which supports the development of young talent at a local level – from internships and training to participation in international programmes and forums.
