Record Number of Women Join the 13th Edition of the EKO Moto School
The roar of engines, inspiring demonstrations, and one shared message: road safety begins with personal responsibility. This was the spirit of the 13th edition of the iconic EKO Moto School, which this year welcomed a record number of female participants on the Serres racetrack in Greece. They demonstrated impressive skills, endurance, discipline, and enthusiasm.
"The initiative combines the useful with the enjoyable, but most importantly, it builds confidence in how to react in difficult situations. I’d gladly take part again," shared Kamelia Kuncheva, a nurse and motorcycle enthusiast.
Focus on responsibility and personal commitment
The EKO Moto School is a long-standing campaign dedicated to responsible riding and skill development among motorcycle enthusiasts. As tradition holds, the training is led by multiple-time champion and road safety ambassador Martin Choy.
"The Moto School is not just about bikes and speed. It’s about conscious behavior and building a community of motorcyclists who learn from each other," said Choy. "Each year, I see how this initiative makes a real difference for the participants."
More than training – building a responsible community
The training brought together riders of various ages and from different cities, selected through an online game organized by EKO Bulgaria. Despite their varying experience levels — from beginners to advanced — all participants had the opportunity to improve their techniques and exchange knowledge.
The program combined theoretical and practical sessions — from road safety basics and behavior in risky situations to adapting to various road conditions. In the practical part, participants were grouped by experience and motorcycle power. During breaks between sessions, they had the chance to ask questions and receive personalized feedback.
At the end of the day, participants received official certificates for completing the course and wished each other fewer accidents and a growing community of responsible riders.
EKO Bulgaria – a long-term commitment to safety
EKO Bulgaria remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote a culture of safe driving, mutual respect, and solidarity on the road.
